We’re hiring!
Contact us for more information about the following positions:
Architect / Architectural Designer
0-6 years of experience
Interior Architect / Interior Designer
0-6 years of experience. NCIDQ preferred.
We are a practice grounded in shared values, where design emerges through dialogue and the exchange of ideas. Rather than defaulting to convention, we test its limits—seeking responses that are both inventive and deeply attuned to the people and places we serve. We embrace the Alaskan lifestyle and support a healthy work–life balance through a 32-hour workweek. Our studio operates as an open forum—focused, rigorous, and participatory—where each voice contributes to the shaping of the whole.
Candidates must have the ability to work independently and effectively. Candidates must also be interested in and motivated to learn and assist with all phases of the design lifecycle, including schematic design and space planning, design development, construction documents, construction administration and furniture specification (Interior Designer). Opportunities also include assistance with writing strategic planning reports and proposals. Flexible work hours and telecommuting (up to two days per week) can be available, depending upon skill level and ability to assist others remotely.
If you are qualified, and our company feels like a good fit for you, please submit your resume with application and cover letter to office@ecialaska.com.
